Wet mix Concrete batching Plant
A Wet mix Concrete Plant, combines some or all of the above ingredients (including water) at a central location into a Concrete Mixer - that is, the concrete is mixed at a single point, and then simply agitated on the way to the jobsite to prevent setting (using agitors or ready mix trucks) or hauled to the jobsite in an open-bodied dump truck. Dry mix differ from Wet mix plants in that Wet Mix contain a central mixer whereas dry, which can offer a more consistent mixture in a shorter time (generally 5 minutes or less). Dry mix plants typically see more break strength standard deviation and variation from load to load because of inconsistencies in mix times, truck blade and drum conditions, traffic conditions, etc. With a Central Mix plant, all loads see the same mixing action and there is an initial quality control point when discharging from the central mixer. Certain plants combine both Dry and Wet characteristics for increased production or for seasonality. le A Mobile batch plant can be constructed on a large job site.
Compared with wet mix concrete batch plant, dry mix concrete batching plant is just like a concrete batching machine. The whole working process is to batch raw materials. First, use wheel loader to transport all kinds of aggregates to aggregate batching machine, then raw materials will be conveyed to storage silo by belt conveyor, and at last, batched aggregates will be discharged into a concrete mixer truck, which is used to transport concrete to the construction site. During the transportation, concrete will be finished mixing in the concrete drum. When the truck came to construction site, concrete has been very uniform. In working, using a mixer truck can save a lot of time on the road. Our dry mix concrete plant is more suitable for these construction projects where requires large amounts of concrete and general quality of concrete. Such as: water resource, electric power, highway, harbor, bridge, airport, large precast products plant and commercial concrete plants.
The Difference Between Dry and Wet Batch Concrete Plant
In appearance
Compared with wet batch plant, dry batch plant has simpler appearance and less equipment.
In configuration
The only difference is wet mix plant has mixing engine-twin shaft concrete mixer, while dry batch plant has no.
As for dry mix concrete plant, it consists of concrete batching machine, belt conveyor, storage silos, frame, etc. It has compact structure.
There are two types wet concrete plants: skip hoist concrete plant and belt conveyor batch plant. They both have aggregate batching machine, twin shaft concrete mixer, weighing system, screw conveyor, cement silos, differences are, in skip hoist concrete batching plant, when the aggregate batcher dosed aggregates, the aggregates are lifted to twin shaft mixer directly by hopper; while in belt conveyor cement plant, the aggregates proportioned aggregates will be conveyed to waiting warehouse through belt conveyor, the most important thing is, there is a cover on belt conveyor, due to the cover and waiting warehouse, raw materials are much more environmental, therefore, belt conveyor concrete batching plant will produce high-quality concrete.
In application
Dry batch concrete plant is more suitable for these construction projects where requires large amounts of concrete and general quality of concrete. Such as: water resource, electric power, highway, harbor, bridge, airport, large precast products plant and commercial concrete plants. It is actually used to batch aggregate, and it has no mixing engine, all aggregates after PLD batching machine will be conveyed to storage silo, then discharge into concrete mixer truck. Concrete mixer truck will transport concrete to the construction site. Actually, it’s function is indeed a concrete batching machine.
Wet batch plant has mixing engine, it is with wide range of application in medium-scale construction sites, prefabricated plants, commercial concrete production plants and other many concrete construction projects. Because the quality of concrete produced by wet concrete plant is very high.
The Introduction of wet Mix Concrete Batching Plant Components:
wet Mix Concrete Batching Plant layout
1. Mixing console. No matter AJYseries concrete ready mix plant or AJ ready mix concrete machine, they are equipped with JS series twin shaft concrete mixer. We adopt advanced shaft-end seal technology and special designed spiral mixing blades, which greatly lessen the energy consumption and residual left.
2. Materials storage system. Aggregates are in open air, while cement, coal ash and additive are all stored in the full closed container. We use high-class steel material, it not only has attractive appearance but also excellent quality.
3. Materials conveying system. From aggregates pile to the aggregates batcher, the aggregates are transported by the wheel loader. From batcher to the mixing console, aggregates firstly are conveyed by the belt conveyor and stored in the waiting storage bin, and then are discharged into the mixing console. As for powder, they are conveyed by the screw conveyor by opening the butterfly bamper under the cement silo body. And water and additive are pumped to their own weighing hopper by the water pump and additive pump.
4. Materials weighing system. Aggregates are weighed in the batcher through separate weighing or accumulative weighing. Powder,
additive and water are all weighed by the leverage electronic scale.
5. Electrical control system. There are two kinds of control system. One is full automatic control and another one is semi-automatic control. PLC with computer belongs to full automatic ready mix batching plant, and another one is semi-automatic under the control of panel.
Full-automatic: PLC with computer, it can print all kinds of report forms and display the details clearly.
Semi-automatic:The ready mix concrete plant equipment is under the control of the control panel and the cost is low.
