Ready mix Concrete batching Plant
Ready Mix Concrete Plant is a integrated unit used to mix the concrete intensively and mechanically, also named concrete prefabrication plant. And ready mixed concrete batching plant has high mechanization degree and superior automation degree, so its productivity is pretty high and it can save the cements, and at the same time ensure the quality of the concrete. Therefore, ready mix concrete batching plant is widely used in construction projects of large-work demand, long construction period and centralized construction site, such as, large and medium water conservancy engineering, electric power project and bridge construction projects. With the development of the urban construction, ready mix concrete plants have superiority of using concentrated mixing and providing ready-mixed concrete. So the ready mixed concrete mixing plant has developed rapidly, and we create conditions for concrete pumping construction and joint operation of mixing, conveying and concrete casting. And batching plant ready mix is equipped with JS series twin-shaft concrete mixer or JSS series compulsory concrete mixer as the mixing console, so it has high productivity and ready mix concrete equipment is well suited to mix dry and harsh concrete and fluidity concrete.
Advantages and disadvantages of ready-mix concrete:
Materials are combined in a batch plant, and the hydration process begins at the moment water meets the cement, so the travel time from the plant to the site, and the time before the concrete is placed on site, is critical over longer distances. Some sites are just too far away; however, the use of admixtures, retarders and cements like pulverised fly ash or ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) can be used to slow the hydration process, allowing for longer transit and waiting time.
Concrete is formable and pourable, but a steady supply is needed for large forms. If there is a supply interruption, and the concrete cannot be poured all at once, a cold joint may appear in the finished form.
Cracking and shrinkage. Concrete shrinks as it cures. It can shrink 1⁄16 inch (1.59mm) over a 10 foot long area (3.05 meters). This causes stress internally on the concrete and must be accounted for by the engineers and finishers placing the concrete, and may require use of steel reinforcement or pre-stressed concrete elements where this is critical.
Access roads and site access have to be able to carry the weight of the ready-mix truck plus load which can be up to 32 tonnes for an eight-wheel 9 m³ truck. (Green concrete is approximately 3,924 pounds per cubic yard, or 2,400 Kg/m³).[10] This problem can be overcome by utilizing so-called "mini mix" trucks which use smaller 4 m³ capacity mixers able to reach more weight restricted sites. Even smaller mixers are used to allow a 7.5 tonne truck to hold approximately 1.25 m³, to reach restricted inner city areas with bans on larger trucks.
The Introduction of Ready mix Concrete batching Plant Components:
Ready mix Concrete batching Plant layout
1. Mixing console. No matter AJYseries concrete ready mix plant or AJ ready mix concrete machine, they are equipped with JS series twin shaft concrete mixer. We adopt advanced shaft-end seal technology and special designed spiral mixing blades, which greatly lessen the energy consumption and residual left.
2. Materials storage system. Aggregates are in open air, while cement, coal ash and additive are all stored in the full closed container. We use high-class steel material, it not only has attractive appearance but also excellent quality.
3. Materials conveying system. From aggregates pile to the aggregates batcher, the aggregates are transported by the wheel loader. From batcher to the mixing console, aggregates firstly are conveyed by the belt conveyor and stored in the waiting storage bin, and then are discharged into the mixing console. As for powder, they are conveyed by the screw conveyor by opening the butterfly bamper under the cement silo body. And water and additive are pumped to their own weighing hopper by the water pump and additive pump.
4. Materials weighing system. Aggregates are weighed in the batcher through separate weighing or accumulative weighing. Powder,
additive and water are all weighed by the leverage electronic scale.
5. Electrical control system. There are two kinds of control system. One is full automatic control and another one is semi-automatic control. PLC with computer belongs to full automatic ready mix batching plant, and another one is semi-automatic under the control of panel.
Full-automatic: PLC with computer, it can print all kinds of report forms and display the details clearly.
Semi-automatic:The ready mix concrete plant equipment is under the control of the control panel and the cost is low.
